Final Contract: $45,124,420.00 Final Contract: $39,765,211.02 Final Contract: $ $37,269,244
Brait Builders Corporation was engaged by Arch Insurance Company to complete this contract after their insured went out of business. The project was approximately 1 year behind schedule. Brait Builders Corporation completed the project on time and without any liquidated damages.

This project consists of renovations of 180,000 square feet of the existing building. Renovation includes demolition of existing building systems and installation of new fire sprinkler system, plumbing systems and fixtures, heating and ventilation systems; selective air conditioning; and new electrical system. 40,000 square feet of new construction; additions include an addition to the front of the building which contains an entrance lobby, administrative office space and the library, an addition at the rear of the building containing general classrooms, science classrooms, a large group construction room, and a computer lab, an addition of the Gymnasium wing which contains a corridor with rear addition, and an addition to the connector between the two wings for a new elevator and stair.

Brait Builders Corporation completed this state of the art facility in December 2006. This project consisted of new construction and renovation of the existing Silver lake Regional High School building and associated site work. The high school was built on the site creating an educations campus that has allowed the regional school district to implement many "green" and cost saving measures to the district. These green measures have included a single destination bussing system, a shared wastewater treatment facility, and shared athletic facilities.
This project presented major challenges, namely those caused by the multiple construction phases, allowing the school to remain open during construction.
The existing vocational spaces remained with new academic, performing arts and other core spaces in the new addition. Unique spaces within the school included a Library/Media Center with access to a landscaped courtyard that functions as an outdoor classroom. The Project also includes a full gymnasium along with tennis courts.
